Leisure Park

Basingstoke's Leisure Park is a mile west of the town centre. Served by the famous pink buses from Basingstoke station, the Leisure Park offers a wide range of activities including ice skating, bingo and bowls. It is home to a multiplex cinema, a bowling alley and one of the most exciting swimming facilities in the country.

Aquadrome

The Aquadrome boasts a unique blend of sedate and daredevil water rides rarely seen outside dedicated water parks.

The Aquadrome's variable pool depth mechanism makes it the most versatile swimming facility in the borough.

The vast fitness studio offers the perfect workout environment, and the health spa provides a wonderful opportunity to relax.

Fitness Studio with 130 pieces of equipment including a large cardio-vascular area with Cardio Theatre to keep you entertained. Resistance weights machines and free weights with FitLinxx interactive fitness guide, keeping you in continuous contact with your fitness instructor and ensuring you get the most from your exercise programme.

Bowlplex

Much more than bowling, Bowlplex is the ultimate in family fun! Bowlplex has a host of exciting leisure facilities that everyone can enjoy - 26 computerised bowling lanes, with bumpers and bowling ramps if required.

There is also the late licensed Stadium Sports Bar where you can relax with your favourite drink, or try the great food served in the grill.

Our DJ plays all the latest hits until late on Fridays and Saturdays. are played and everybody is encouraged to get up and have fun on the dance floor.

If that is not enough to whet the appetite, Bowlplex also has Video World, with all the latest in arcade entertainment and our famous American Pool Pit.

Eating at Leisure park

The Leisure Park offers a variety of food options for all the family.

Among the dedicated eateries Little Frankies serves pasta and salads as well as pizza in themed American surroundings. The Spruce Goose Beefeater restaurant offers a varied menu, an extensive wine list, a large bar area and garden-patio seating. Both are suitable for group bookings.

McDonalds and KFC both offer eat in and drive through facilities.

The Premier Travel Inn provides comfortable accommodation, with en-suite facilities for business trips or family breaks.

Gala Bingo

Bingo has always been fun, and in the exciting surroundings of Gala Bingo at Basingstoke, it has become top-class, prize winning entertainment - attracting a lively membership across all 18-plus age groups.

At Gala, bingo is particularly easy to play. Complete newcomers are caught up in the fun from the word go. Each game lasts for around 5 minutes, and a session is usually made up of about 13 games. In between each game there's always a break, during which you can relax with a drink, or play fast and furious Party Bingo at your table for the chance to win more cash and other great prizes.

The numbers are also displayed on the big electronic screen, in case you miss any in the excitement!

Indoor Bowls

An excellent indoor bowling facility for people of all ages. We have juniors from 8 years up, a world under 25 champion and a ladies national champion. It really is a game to be enjoyed from any age.

Coaching is available for beginners and at only £2 per 2 hour session, bowling is an inexpensive pastime.

The bar and restaurant facilities are available at all times, so why not drop in and see us at the rear of the Leisure Park (up past Gala Bingo).

Milestones

The county's recent past is brought to life at Milestones, Hampshire's living history museum, one mile west of the town centre.

The sheer volume of visitors makes it one of the most successful attractions in the south, offering nostalgia and providing a safe and educational experience for children which is great fun at the same time. The vast hi-tech structure of this award-winning museum houses a network of 19th and early 20th century streets.

Thousands of authentic bricks, slates and tiles have been used to create a network of life-size street scenes, complete with with period Hampshire houses and even a working pub. Factories and industrial buildings are also striking features, representing important local manufacturers, such as Taskers and Thornycrofts.

Odeon Cinema

The Leisure Park cinema was recently acquired by ODEON and has been re-branded. The cinema is currently undergoing a full programme of refurbishment that will see all of the seats replaced and improved and a new retail area and redesigned foyer. The refurbishment is due to be completed in time for the February half-term.

Planet Ice

Planet Ice is home to Elite League Ice Hockey where the Bison embody the big hitting spirit of Basingstoke. Offering a unique brand of entertainment, this complex provides first rate facilities in figure skating, hockey or dance for all ages and abilities.
