Jane Austen Regency Festival, Alton

Alton and Chawton are running a series of Jane Austen and Regency events celebrating the works of Jane Austen and in particular the bicentenary of her move to Chawton. A range of events are being run: music, talks, museum displays, readings, school visits, children's competition, horse-drawn carriages, 'Fashion through the ages' show, Victorian Cricket, Regency Evening, Chawton House Library open day. Some events are ticketed - others are free.
