Home > Aldershot Military Museum
The museum tells the story of the home of the British Army from its creation in 1854 to the present day. Photographs, models, displays and an original Victorian barrack room with period uniforms and furniture depict a soldier's daily life, both domestic and military. Diorama and objects illustrate the birth of British aviation at Farnborough. Local history gallery looks at the civilian areas that grew up in Aldershot and Farnborough and the impact of the army on those areas. A number of original military vehicles are on display around the museum and in the Montgomery Gallery.
