Alton Yuletide Festival

A traditional Christmas spectacle.

With many new entertainers, children’s rides, Father Christmas’s Grotto and lots of market stalls for that extra special gift or just to treat yourself, there will be something there for the whole family to enjoy.

And what’s more much of the entertainment will be FREE

Many of the local shops, bars and restaurants will be open to tempt you with their seasonal fayre and the town will be very festive with the street and tree lights illuminating the shopping areas. The whole of the High Street will be filled with the sounds, sights and scents of a traditional Christmas. Sweets and chocolates, the smell of seasonal cakes and fruit, the traditional holly wreaths, spiced fruit punch, baubles and tinsel....reminiscent of bygone days.

To keep the children happy there will be the traditional children’s fun fair with lots of rides and the nativity donkeys will be there to welcome the children to Father Christmas’s Grotto.

This year we also have FREE car parking in the town that day so why not spend this year in Alton at the Yuletide Festival and have a great time shopping for your gifts in a truly traditional market town with a truly traditional Yuletide feel.
