If you have young children to keep entertained during the summer, there's plenty going on in Hampshire's Countryside.

Balloons over Basingstoke is a great event for the whole family. Basing House organises a special event for children 'Meet an English Civil War Soldier'. Milestones, on the outskirts of Basingstoke, runs a special programme for every day of this summer and is the best place to be on a rainy day! Willis Museum has a varied indoor programme for little explorers, in Basingstoke town centre.

Discover military vehicles at the Aldershot Military Museum during 'Heavy Metal Thursdays' and see plenty of aircraft at the Farnborough Air Science Museum a short drive away.
