Downsview (Petersfield)

'Downsview' is a comfortable family Edwardian house in a lovely position overlooking the heath and lake with views of the downs. It is only a short walk to the centre of Petersfield where there is a good variety of pubs and restaurants. The station is 10-15 minutes walk and provides a fast service to Waterloo (1 hour). There is a pay and play golf course close by and the heath opposite the house provides pleasant walks around a large lake. We are centrally situated for visiting Chichester, Winchester and Portsmouth (ferry port - 20 minutes) and their many attractions.

Open all year except for Christmas.

Road Directions

From the A3(M), take the exit signs 'Winchester A272 & Alton A32'. At roundabout, follow signs to 'Town Centre', after level crossing go straight on until the road divides. Take the right hand fork into Tor Way and then into left hand lane following the road markings to 'Portsmouth'. Pass through the pedestrian lights and turn left into Heath Road immediately after Red Lion (Beefeater) pub. Follow Heath Road for about 0.5 miles and Downsview (No 58) is on your left overlooking the heath.
