The Haven

The Haven is family run, with a homely atmosphere, overlooking the Lodden Valley on the outskirts of Old Basing, located 3 miles from Basingstoke town centre. Various eating places, pubs, restaurants, cinema and leisure park are all within easy reach, as are these North Hampshire attractions: Basing House, The Vyne and Stratfield Saye House. The guest house is no smoking throughout and we have a large garden available for guests' use.

Road Directions

Exit junction 6 of the M3 and take the right hand lane to the set of traffic lights. At Blackdam Roundabout, take the 3rd exit on to A30 to Hatch. Follow this road for approximately 1 mile. Take the 1st left into Park Lane to the traffic lights and go over into Milkingpen Lane . Take 2nd left and then immediately right by the school, under the railway to the T-junction and turn right at Balton Arms on the left. At the bottom of the hill, turn right into Newnham Lane.
