The Old Rectory

The Old Rectory

A warm welcome awaits you in this beautifully furnished period rectory set in three acres of lovely gardens. A carrier from the River Test runs through the garden. There is ample off road parking.

The Old Rectory is close to Watership Down. There are beautiful walks and trout fishing nearby.
A pub serving evening meals is within five minutes' walk. There are other shops, restaurants and facilities in either Whitchurch or Overton, both two miles from Freefolk.

Freefolk is within easy reach of Stonehenge, Salisbury, Winchester, Newbury, Oxford, Windsor and the New Forest.

Road Directions

From M3 and London
Leave the M3 on A303 at Junction 8. Travel to A303 for approximately 3 miles and turn Left, signposted Micheldever and Overton. At the T junction after the motorway turn Right to Overton. Travel 4 Miles on a rather wiggly road until you come into the centre of Overton and the traffic lights. Turn Left towards Whitchurch. After 2½ miles you will enter the village of Laverstoke. Freefolk is the next village, and the entrance to The Old Rectory is immediately to the Left after the Freefolk village sign and before the humpback bridge over the River Test.

From Andover: Take B3400 To Whitchurch. Go Past the Parish Church in Church Street. About 200 yards further on is the centre of Whitchurch, where there is a mini-roundabout. Go around this island, taking the third exit - the White Hart Hotel will be on your left.
