Yew Tree Farm House

We were a farm until just before World War II comprising of a herd of 12 dairy cows. The house is probably three cottages. The date on the fireplace in the sitting room is 1734 but parts of the house are much older. We are on the main A272, all bedrooms have double glazing. There are several good pubs nearby serving food. Two in the next village, East Meon, are more traditional, and one half a mile away which has excellent, reasonably priced food. Portsmouth and Winchester are 18 miles. We have lovely countryside near by, Butser Hill is within walking distance.

Off A3, take the A272 to Winchester. Approx. 2.5 miles from roundabout, pass through village of Stroud. Last house on left as you come down Langrish Hill. Letter box on right at top of hill.
